'Marriage, Sex & Living Wisely' has two presentations:
Lesson 1: 'Choosing the Best' in this lesson pupils will be encouraged to think about the choices they make, especially in their relationships. Pupils will be taught about what marriage is and what it offers and will discuss the benefits of saving sex for marriage.
Lesson 2: 'Too Special to Spoil' in this lesson pupils will learn how sex in the wrong circumstances can lead to unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and emotional problems. They will think about practical issues which affect teenage relationships including social media and pornography. The presentation ends by encouraging pupils to protect and value themselves.
A single lesson which combines a shortened version of each lesson is also provided.
The CD contains attractive and engaging slides interspersed with video clips.
This full colour book gives an overview of each presentation and detailed notes relating to each slide.
To explore the issues raised further, worksheets can be photocopied from the teacher's book or printed from the CD.
